Fantasy Faction Contest Guide During the GTA Universe Play Test, we are hosting a Fantasy Faction Contest to give players the opportunity to prepare and establish their factions for when the server officially launches. While roleplay will not be active during this test, faction registration is open exclusively during the Play Test, and this is your chance to secure a spot for your faction and compete for a share of the $5000 prize pool! Registration Details: Registration Window: Faction registration is only open during the Play Test period. Minimum Requirements: Each faction must have at least 5 members. Faction Thread: To register, create a Faction Thread in the Faction Forums, detailing your faction's vision, structure, goals, and future plans for roleplay. What We’re Looking For in Faction Threads: To qualify and compete in the contest, your faction thread should clearly articulate your faction’s: Backstory: Provide a strong and compelling backstory for your faction. Where did your faction come from? What drives its members? This should align with the lore of GTA Universe and present a realistic foundation for roleplay when the server goes live. Goals & Vision: Describe the faction’s short- and long-term goals. What role will your faction play in the server’s ecosystem? Will you be a legitimate business, an underworld criminal organization, or a political force? We want to see the direction your faction will take. Leadership Structure: Outline your faction’s leadership and hierarchy. Who’s in charge? How are decisions made? Show us that your faction has a clear structure and plan for progression. Activities & Roles: Explain what your faction members will be doing on a daily basis once the server goes live. What jobs, businesses, or criminal enterprises will they participate in? How will these activities tie into the server’s existing systems? Growth & Roleplay Plans: How does your faction plan to grow? Provide a roadmap for how your faction will interact with other players, factions, and systems (businesses, narcotics, etc.) to further its goals. We’re looking for factions that will contribute to the overall roleplay environment in a meaningful way. Contest Criteria: When judging factions, we will be looking at the following: Faction Thread Quality: How detailed, thoughtful, and realistic is your faction's thread? This is the first impression of your faction, and it should reflect the effort you're putting into your roleplay ideas. Faction Theme & Concept: Is your faction concept creative and unique, while still being rooted in realism? We want to see fresh ideas that can contribute to the GTA Universe's lore and overall storylines. Organization & Structure: Does your faction have a clear hierarchy, leadership, and roles for its members? A well-organized faction is essential for success when the server goes live. Faction Vision: What kind of impact will your faction have on the server? How will it integrate with existing systems (careers, narcotics, economy)? A strong vision for the future of your faction will help you stand out. Roleplay Quality (When Live): While roleplay is not active during the test, we want to see factions that are preparing for roleplay. We will be monitoring your roleplay quality when the server officially launches. Show us that your faction is ready to contribute to the immersive, text-based experience we’re creating! Prizes: Upon official server launch, the top factions will be competing for a share of the $5000 cash pool: 1st Place: $2500 Cash Prize 2nd Place: $1500 Cash Prize Solo Category (for standout individual factions or small groups): $1000 Cash Prize How to Enter: Form a group of 5 or more players. Post a Faction Thread in the Faction Forums during the Play Test, detailing your faction’s backstory, goals, leadership, activities, and vision for roleplay. Start organizing and preparing for the official launch, where the real contest begins! Use this testing period to build your faction, plan your roleplay, and set the foundation for when we go live.
