This test will not involve roleplay, but rather a focus on testing core systems and features. The contest will run from 9/21/24 to 10/15/24, so dive in, test as much as you can, and provide us with valuable feedback! How to Win: 1st Place: The tester who delivers the most thorough and valuable feedback on features, participates actively, and pushes the limits of our systems will take home the $500 CASH PRIZE. Additionally, the 1st place winner will receive a Mid-Level House, $300k in-game cash, and a Mid-Level Vehicle of their choice as part of their rewards! 2nd Place: A Mid-Level House, $300k in-game cash, and a Mid-Level Vehicle of your choice will be awarded to the runner-up. 3rd Place: You’ll receive $300k in-game cash and a Mid-Level Vehicle of your choice for third place. Testing Focus Areas: To ensure we get the best out of this testing phase, here are the systems you should focus on: Housing/Properties Testing: Test the boundaries of our property system, buying and managing houses or land, and placing structures within the 1000-slot furniture system. Test both indoor and outdoor builds. (Property management shall make an announcement of the areas available for testing interiors. You can use the /forsale command to view properties for purchase within 100 meters of your location) Furniture System: Push our furniture system to its limits! Whether you're mapping out interior designs or placing outdoor structures, give us feedback on the ease of use, performance, and any improvements you'd suggest. -- Please note that it objects are currently being expanded. We have included enough to test wall functionality, some furniture, etc. (Should be 1500 items, though its lacking critical infrastructure objects currently. Being added daily) Careers & Items Testing: Experiment with the 620+ items created by factories and businesses, especially those related to heavy industry jobs like oil, gas, lumber, and mining. Try out the crafting mechanics, item progression, and resource dependency. Factions Dry Run: Utilize this testing period to dry run your faction creation! Head to the Faction Forums and begin setting up your group, business, or organization. Although roleplay won’t be active during this test, we encourage you to organize and prepare for when the server goes live. (We’ll provide a Faction Creation Guide and details on the $5000 prize pool contest in the next update.) Contest Criteria: Activity: We’re looking for testers who are actively exploring the server, testing different systems, and providing consistent feedback. Feedback Quality: Report bugs, provide suggestions, and share your experience with systems like housing, furniture, careers, and faction mechanics. The more detailed and actionable your feedback, the better. Thorough Testing: Dive into every corner of the server—if it’s there, test it! The more features you cover, the higher your chances of winning.
