One Cut at a Time.

Step into the rugged, frontier world of Woodland Lumber Co., where the forests of San Andreas fuel the city’s construction and trade industries. This career isn’t just about chopping down trees—it’s an immersive journey into the heart of nature, where the work you do transforms raw timber into the materials that build the city. Whether you’re drawn by the power of heavy machinery or the satisfaction of shaping raw logs into useful products, this job offers excitement, responsibility, and reward in every shift.

As a lumberjack at Woodland Lumber Co., your day begins with proper safety gear. Hard hats, steel-toe boots, and reflective vests aren’t just recommended—they’re your armor against the dangers of the forest. With your gear in place, you’ll head into the woods, where towering trees await your skilled hand.

You Want to Be a Lumberjack, huh?

Once in the forest, your primary task will be felling trees and operating specialized equipment to handle the timber. Whether it’s wielding a chainsaw to bring down a mighty oak or maneuvering a skidder to transport logs, precision and safety are paramount. Cut too recklessly, and you could cause a tree to fall unpredictably, putting yourself and your team at risk. After felling, your next job is to strip the logs of their branches and prepare them for transport.

Every log you cut isn’t just wood—it’s potential. You’ll process it into planks, woodchips, 2x4s, plywood, and more, each serving the city’s relentless demand for building materials. Whether it’s for residential homes, skyscrapers, or furniture, your work drives the economy forward.

Trucking Ain't Easy!

The job doesn’t stop in the forest. Once the timber is ready, it’s time to transport the logs. You’ll haul these massive loads to the mill using heavy-duty trucks, navigating rugged terrain and tight mountain roads. Driving skill and caution are essential here—one wrong turn could result in lost cargo or worse. At the mill, the real transformation begins, as the raw logs are turned into the materials that build the city’s future.

Remember, Driving a Semi requires a CDL and comes with knowing the regulations of weight and restricted routes. You can always utilize the Skidder trailer which does not require a CDL, however you must purchase a Skidder Road Permit from City Hall in order to operate it on the road!

Woodland Lumber Co. isn’t just about cutting down trees—it’s about sustainable forestry, teamwork, and being a vital part of the city's growth and progress. LUMBER: THE BACKBONE OF THE BUILDING INDUSTRY

At Woodland Lumber Co., your hard work doesn’t just fuel the construction of buildings—it plays a pivotal role in the furniture industry, one of the most essential sectors in San Andreas. The GTA Universe’s unique Furniture System means that players won't be relying on cash alone to create their custom spaces. Whether you're supplying contractors with the beams to frame a new home or providing the high-quality wood needed for custom cabinets, tables, and more, your work has a direct impact on how people design their living spaces.

But it’s not just wood that’s needed—collaboration with miners to gather cement (a vital resource in the construction process) will also be crucial. These materials, combined with your processed lumber, are the foundation for building everything from simple homes to lavish estates. Whether players are constructing new buildings or furnishing them with custom designs, every cut you make and every log you process feeds directly into the creation of the world around you.

At Woodland Lumber Co., you’re not just chopping trees—you’re shaping the future.
